Clinical Psychological Assessment
As a Specialist Clinical Psychologist, I provide comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
The assessment process may include:
clinical interviews;
administration of standardized psychological tests;
evaluation of emotional and cognitive functioning;
assessment of psychological strengths and challenges;
preparation of a psychological report.
Assessment may be recommended for:
clarifying emotional or behavioral difficulties;
guiding psychological intervention;
monitoring progress;
evaluating child development;
assessing cognitive functioning in adults and older adults.
All assessments are conducted in accordance with professional and ethical standards of psychological practice. In my clinical assessment practice, I use standardized psychological instruments for which I hold administration and interpretation licenses, as well as projective assessment techniques, selected according to the objectives of the evaluation and the specific characteristics of each case. These tools allow for the exploration of emotional, cognitive, and personality functioning, including the assessment of anxiety, depression, personality traits, cognitive functioning, and potential cognitive decline.
The assessment process is complemented by clinical interviewing and psychological observation, with the aim of developing a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of each individual's strengths, challenges, and psychological needs.
SERVICES
Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy is a process of exploring and understanding emotional, relational, and behavioral difficulties within a confidential and professional setting.
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing:
anxiety, panic attacks, and stress;
difficulties with emotional regulation;
depression and burnout;
low self-esteem and excessive self-criticism;
relationship difficulties;
life transitions and significant life changes;
loss, separation, and adjustment processes;
difficulties managing conflict;
My clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, addictions, trauma, and a wide range of emotional, relational, and adjustment difficulties.
My approach integrates a systemic perspective with principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), taking into account both the individual experience and the relational context in which it develops.
Family Therapy
The family is the first relational system in which we develop and learn how to relate to others. When difficulties arise, they often affect the entire family system.
Family therapy may be helpful in situations such as:
parent-child conflicts;
communication difficulties among family members;
behavioral challenges in children and adolescents;
divorce or family restructuring;
adjustment to major life changes;
coping with crisis situations.
The goal of therapy is to foster healthier patterns of communication and collaboration among family members.
Couples Therapy
Relationships naturally go through periods of closeness and distance. At times, recurring conflicts, communication difficulties, or life events can affect the balance within a couple.
Couples therapy provides a space where partners can better understand the dynamics of their relationship and identify more effective ways of communicating and working together.
Common areas addressed include:
recurring conflicts;
communication difficulties;
managing differences and individual needs;
infidelity and rebuilding trust;
intimacy-related concerns;
adjustment to parenthood;
separation or decisions regarding the future of the relationship.
I work from a systemic psychotherapy perspective, which views difficulties not as belonging to one individual alone, but as influenced by the interactions and relational patterns that exist within the couple.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a complementary psychological intervention that can be integrated into a broader therapeutic process.
Clinical hypnosis involves techniques of focused attention and deep relaxation designed to facilitate access to personal resources and new perspectives on existing difficulties.
It may be used to support:
anxiety management;
stress reduction;
self-control and self-regulation;
strengthening personal resources;
changing maladaptive behavioral patterns.
This intervention is carried out only with the individual's informed consent and active participation.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT is an evidence-based therapeutic approach focused on developing skills for effectively managing emotions and relationships.
This intervention may be beneficial for individuals experiencing:
intense emotions that are difficult to manage;
impulsivity;
frequent interpersonal conflicts;
heightened emotional sensitivity;
difficulties tolerating stress;
self-destructive or self-sabotaging behaviors.
Areas of skill development include: emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness.

The parent-child relationship is one of the most important factors in healthy emotional development.
The Circle of Security Parenting® program is based on attachment theory and helps parents better understand their children's emotional needs and respond to them in a sensitive and balanced way.
Parenting counseling may be beneficial for:
parents of young children;
managing challenging behaviors;
developing a more secure relationship with their child;
